The 15 vital Functions of a Church
Learn about Church Basics, a proven and effective tool to help churches discover their existing potential and move to the next level. The Church Basics DNA serves the comprehensive, timeless understanding of the church and brings about lasting health, renewal and growth in many churches.
Church Basics works on church development with three building blocks:
Basic training is for pastors, leadership teams and potential church leaders. Participants gain a comprehensive insight into healthy church DNA and its process-based networking.
A church that wants to embark on a journey of renewal first needs to determine where it stands. The analysis weekend provides a comprehensive picture of the current state of the church and recommends concrete steps for the "onward journey”.
A coaching process is individually tailored to the church and consists of on-site meetings and online coaching sessions on various topics and issues. A Church Basic Consultant accompanies the church’s leaders and “focus teams” in the implementation of its strategic plan, which leads the church into renewal and growth.

The training courses are regularly an "aha" experience for the participants and generate a lot of hope and enthusiasm for their local church. This training lasts 9 to 12 months: five two-day training sessions with practical projects and the offer of supportive coaching.
The church receives a detailed strategic plan with concrete recommendations for implementation. Important results of the weekend is the dynamic and motivation that arises among the participants and generates momentum for the necessary steps towards change.
CBI currently offers training, analysis and coaching in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia and soon in other European countries.

From the outside at the beginning of the decline phase, the church may still appear to be in good shape and even somewhat successful, but inside the church things slowly begin to change. Often churches remain stuck at a growth barrier for years. Rather than worrying about the growth of the church, we should focus on the health of the church. How can we recognize which parts of the church are healthy and which are hindering growth?

- Use the Learning Community to connect with like-minded churches and learn field-tested solutions.
- Prepare your church for an analysis weekend and an effective change process.

- The workshops and practical sessions are accompanied by short teaching impulses and six detailed video teachings. The video teachings can be used for a year to train other teams in the church and bring important impulses to all areas.

The hosting church receives a minimum of 3 free places. The larger the total group, the more free places they receive.
Price per module, per person from one church. Different prices in Switzerland and other countries. In countries where translation is done from English to the native language, 5 to 6 session training weekends may be needed for translation. Prices may be negotiable based on the local situation.
